INTERGEO 2026 recap

INTERGEO 2026 brought the geospatial community together in Munich to explore the technologies, ideas, and workflows shaping the future of the architecture, engineering, construction, and operations industry.

Throughout the event, conversations reflected an industry that is becoming increasingly connected. The focus is shifting beyond individual technologies and towards how reliable data can move across workflows and support better decisions.

For Hexagon Multivista, these conversations reinforce an important idea: capturing information is only the beginning. The real value comes from what teams can do with that information.

From real-world data to real-world value

Every project starts with an understanding of existing conditions. Accurate reality capture creates a trusted record of the physical world, giving teams greater visibility into what is happening on site.

But that information can support much more than documentation. When field data flows into the workflows that follow, it can inform models and digital assets, provide insight into project progress, and help teams identify deviations between planned and actual conditions.

This is where Hexagon Multivista’s Capture, Create, Analyze services come together. Capture provides the foundation for Create workflows, including models, documentation, and digital assets, while also enabling Analyze workflows that deliver visibility into project progress and potential issues.

By connecting these capabilities, teams can move information seamlessly from the field into digital workflows, improving visibility, strengthening coordination, and supporting more informed decisions throughout the project lifecycle.

Connected workflows start with trusted data

One of the key themes coming out of INTERGEO was the importance of connected workflows and trusted data.

As projects generate more information and technologies become more intelligent, teams need more than access to data. They need confidence in the information underlying their workflows.

This becomes even more important as AI takes a larger role across the industry. AI can help teams work with increasingly complex information, but technology alone isn’t the answer. Reliable data and human expertise remain essential to interpreting information and putting it into the right context.

Creating stronger connections between accurate real-world information, digital workflows and expert insight can help teams get more value from the data they already generate.

Looking ahead

INTERGEO 2026 offered a look at an industry continuing to move toward more connected data, workflows, and technologies.

For Hexagon Multivista, that direction reinforces the value of connecting Capture, Create, Analyze to help teams move from understanding real-world conditions to creating useful digital assets and generating insights that support better decisions.
