In February, we introduced Single Sign-On (SSO) support, allowing teams to log in with their company’s credentials. This eliminated the need for multiple passwords and strengthened security, making it easier for teams to access GoCapture without ever compromising data safety.
Increased flexibility with expanded camera support
March brought compatibility with the Insta360 X4 camera, which offers a bigger battery and faster Wi-Fi. By using the Insta360 X4 camera for self-capture, teams can quickly capture 360° walks and transfer files faster, giving users more flexibility and reducing downtime in the field.
Save time with a faster, simpler capture workflow
In April, we streamlined the capture process by reducing the total number of steps to take a 360° photo from four taps to just one. This change saves time and reduces errors, allowing teams to stay focused on documenting progress instead of troubleshooting workflows.
Increased app accessibility with Android app improvements
May marked the official release of our enhanced Android app. This ensures consistent workflows across devices and supports bring-your-own-device policies, making adoption easier for all team members. Now, anyone on the team can capture and upload site photos using the device they already have, making photo documentation easier, faster, and more accessible.
A smoother experience with our 360° walk enhancements
In November, we streamlined the 360° walk experience, introducing confirmation and upload screens, a clear step-by-step process for capturing, uploading, and processing into the MDS, our reality capture platform. These enhancements give you confidence that your recordings are successful, making workflows transparent and reliable, and providing clearer, more detailed images for faster, more accurate inspections.
Sharper images and faster uploads
This fall, we delivered higher-resolution images extracted from 360° walks, allowing you to see details that matter. We also made enhancements to the upload process, resulting in up to 50% quicker walk upload speeds so that teams can access and share site data even faster.
